As we edge out of the winter season, we’re just getting into the peak time for vacation bookings for the coming summer.
One of the apparently more popular areas these days are in Carolinas outer banks. Ordinarily most people only consider hotels for their vacations but Outer Banks rentals are definitely the way to go in this instance. Why? Well, this is an area where you will make the most of the attractions by having a base for your explorations and there are some fantastic holiday rental properties available right now at reasonably sensible prices too.
Although you might think that with the current economic situation, there’s no rush to make your reservations, don’t rely on that because people tend to put vacation expenditure right at the top of their priorities so these properties will go fast.

It used to be that specialised printers were exclusively the domain of the professionals but that’s not been the case for quite a long time now.
Commonplace are the photo printers which can roll off the prints that you’d ordinarily have had to go to the camera shop to have done and the prices for those are now so low that they make DIY a very cost effective and simple way to produce your holiday prints. Also moving into the mainstream are less common types such as the receipt printer which you’d normally encounter in supermarkets but which are handy add-ons for even the smallest business these days.
Although, in principle, you could buy one printer and use it for all these tasks clearly it’s a whole lot simpler to get the specialised printers for their specific tasks and it’s finally become a fairly economic option.

One of the more depressing aspects of our partial relocation is the recent trekking round the various gyms and health clubs in the area that we’ve been doing over the last week or so.
Five years ago we were fairly fit but five years of running a hotel/restaurant in the south of France has led to a certain amount of spreading out of the tummy and a lot of muscles falling into disuse which together means that it’s going to be a major pain to get back into the fitness programme that we dropped out of five years ago.
To jumpstart the arrival of trimmer versions of ourselves we’ve also been looking into various weight loss products although we’re still at the stage of being awfully confused about them! Is it a fat burner that we need ‘cos we’ve a whole lot of excess fat, or is it something to speed up our sedentary metabolism? Or both? Or perhaps something else altogether?
