We’re hoping to finally get our kitchen renewed before Christmas. That mightn’t sound like a whole lot of time but in reality there’s only a matter of a week or so of work that’s required so in principle we can do it.

Where the problem is that we’re torn between things like Moen kitchen faucets and various other brand names of products and really just need to sit down and decide what’s going into the place.

Which is why it’s not been done yet, of course.

I’m sure that many of us are in these very hard economic times and so the effects of stress are felt by many more people than usual.

Among many effects, stress hair loss is one of the more obvious though rarer effects. Usually it’s seen after quite a lifetime of stress which is why you’ll sometimes see friends from years ago who’ve got a whole lot less hair than you do. Boy does it make them look older too! I’ve one friend like that who looks easily 20 years older than me yet we’re both almost exactly the same age.

Don’t neglect it: you don’t want to be looking like an old man decades before your time!

100 years ago, Coca Cola strongly implied in their advertising that there was cocaine in their product so today manufacturers try to stretch the limits of advertising to associate their products with some ingredient which everyone wants but which isn’t quite legal.

So you’ll see diet pills with ephedra advertised or rather not as they tend to use some name that implies that it’s in the product even when it isn’t. It does seem a bit insulting to the customers buying such things though presumably there are a few sales from people who’ve grabbed whatever was on the shelf without looking too closely at the name.
