We’re all know that calcium is needed for growing bones in the young but it’s also needed for everyone else too.
Amongst all the weird and wonderful supplements, the calcium supplements are one that’s definitely not one to include in the “yeah, right” category. It’s surprisingly easy to find that you’re not getting as much calcium in your diet as you actually need but the snag is that it’ll only be noticeable years later when it’s far too late to do anything about it.

As if we didn’t need a bit more prompting to buy stuff for Christmas, Cyber Monday was invented as a marketing wheeze a few years ago to prod us some more.
Having said that, it’s no bad thing to get stuff bought early as it avoids all the hassles of last minute Christmas shopping which we seem to be regularly plagued with year after year. On the downside, this year, as every year, the most sought after items are already out of stock (mainly the 10″ Android pads at the moment).

Just the other day I read of a 65 year old woman who had lived in the UK for all but the first six months of her life was on the road to deportation.
It wasn’t that she’d not been known about by the authorities but that she’d basically slipped through the system through an odd combination of circumstances over the years and through not having thought much about it, had done the “wrong thing” as she passed through immigration recently.
On the other hand, we see the border patrol on TV regularly raiding genuinely illegal aliens. Almost always they’ve gotten rid of their passports, so they’re detained for a few hours, released and disappear. Seems that you can’t be deported if you don’t have a passport, so if you’re illegal, get rid of your passport as soon as you can.
