Bargain hunting
As I’m sure many of you will have gathered now I’m something of a bargain hunter and always on the lookout to find whatever I want at the lowest possible price.
For example, I’ve just picked up the excellent Rosetta Stone German language software for under half the normal list price. Funnily enough, although it’s a brand new copy, the second hand versions were almost all more expensive unless you went for a really out of date one. Yeah, I know, German hasn’t changed much but the problem is with the software that does the teaching as really old versions may not run on Vista.
Anyway, I’m always scouring the best buy websites as it’s good to keep tabs on what’s around. Sometimes drop quite dramatically in price and something that you figured was way too expensive can quite easily drop into the impulse buy range.
What’s dangerous, for me anyway, is to start rifling through the gadget pages of these sites as it’s very easy to end up with a massive wish list!
