Isn’t it wonderful how previously luxury items are now mainstream?
One of the big plus points of the technological developments over the decades is how items that were previously very much exclusively the preserve of the rich have become available to us all.
The list is long and getting longer. These days just about everyone can go on a cruise whereas not so long ago cruises were very much once in a lifetime type of holidays. If you’d heard about someone with their own cinema even ten years back you’d have known that they were loaded yet these days many people have home cinema systems and home theatre seating is widely available.
Let’s hope that the current economic blip doesn’t disturb this trend too much.
