Supplement or diet pill?

Although the majority of the publicity that you’ll see is for diet pills there’s a related market in the form of diet supplements which includes the various super-food type products that you come across.

Since this market is, if anything, even more complex than that for the diet pills you’ll find that there are various sites devoted to weight loss supplement reviews that will take you through the various aspects of each product. As with the diet pills you need to find a supplement that meets your needs as they are, for the most part, far from generic products that will suit everyone.

These supplements are particularly important if you’re embarking on a combination of diet change plus exercise which is, of course, the best long term approach to the issue. If you’re doing this combination it’s easy to find that your modified diet is missing a few essentials and therefore it’s definitely looking at the supplements available.

I agree with you, Gerry–we as a society coddle children WAY too much. If your kid is allergic to peanuts, carry an epi-pen and shut up about it and let the rest of the world eat their peanuts. One of my friends has a kid in grade school and she’s not allowed to pack him any nut-containing foods at all in his lunch. Now THAT would piss me off. What if you’re a vegan and get a lot of your protein from peanuts?
