The long winter nights are approaching

Although we’re still in the midst of summer (well, the calendar says that, the weather says “winter” today!), it’s not going to be all that long before we need to start considering what to do about heating the place up over the winter.

Well up that agenda is a heated blanket I think although Wendy’s not so sure about that. Fortunately though these days you can get blankets which have controls for each side so she can have her non-heated blanket and I can have my heated one. Somehow, I suspect that her’s will get switched on if the temperatures drop as low as they did last year.
